We can offer 3 Million Metric Tons (MT) of White Refined Cane Sugar from Brazil.
The price is just US$ 440 per MT and with respect to the world market price for sugar well over US$ 800 presently, it is quite a sweet deal. This is a left over from last season that is why the price is so low.
Origin is Sao Paulo, right where the factories are. Presently, the biggest problem with sugar offers from Brazil is the lack of transport capacities. Here, this is not an issue as it is a CIF delivery and the ships are under contract, already.
As it is quite a large quantity, the delivery goes for 30 months with at least 50,000 MT but no more than 100,000 MT per month. Price is also modified by the capacity of the destination port. If the harbour allows for small 12,500 MT ships, only, then the price must go up to some extent. Same applies it the destination harbour is very far away from Brazil. If the destination is the Mediterranean or the Middle East then this is no problem, if China, please ask.
Even though that this full flavoured Brazilian sugar is excellently suited for human consumption and a good part of it will end up in a sugar sprinkler, there is no doubt that this deal is for large private, corporate, institutional or governmental buyers who are able and willing to show that they are financially able to handle this size of a business.
